Whether it's eating veggies or limiting TV time, kids pay attention to what parents are doing and follow suit. So that's just one of the reasons we parents need to get our daily dose of exercise. But if you don't enjoy sports and fitness, can you still be a role model for your child? You bet.
It may not come as naturally as it does for born sports-lovers, but even non-athletes can inspire their kids. Sometimes it takes a little stretching of the brain along with the muscles, but it can be done!
