Ice hockey gloves protect the wrists, hands, and fingers and help players grip their hockey sticks. The back of the glove is padded as are the fingers. Ice hockey gloves should overlap the bottom edge of the elbow pads to provide full protection.
Ice hockey sticks are available in junior sizes for young players. When the player is wearing skates, the stick should extend to just below the chin.
