We bought this at a book fair and if you can't tell what it is from the title, you probably don't have a Hannah Montana fan in your house. This is a cute cookbook sprinkled with lots of pictures of Hannah and her friends and family. It also has trivia factoids. Most of the recipes reference the characters or the show too (like "Malibu Morning Muffins," "Rico's Loaded Nachos," etc.)
The recipes we have tried worked well and I like that they have pretty healthy ingredients. I also like that the instructions lay out clearly what to do first (like chop up ingredients) instead of assuming you will know.
I would say that kids about 10 and up can make most of these on their own. There is nothing super special or spectacular about the recipes, but having the Hannah Montana brand on them will make kids want to try making them and eating them.
