Donut on a string halloween party game
- If you know the game of the apple hanging from thread this is just the same. You get some ring donuts and thread them with twine hanging from your ceiling. Get the children to take a bite from it with their hands behind their back. They love it.

Ghost walk
- This game should have at least 4 players. One player is the walker and the other players are the ghosts. The walker has a tray with items that can fall but won't break. The walker must balance the tray and walk through the room without dropping anything. The ghosts job are to scare the walker without touching him/her. The walker wins if they can make it from one end of the dark room to the other without dropping the items on the tray!

Musical Bones (A var. of musical chairs)
- We have been playing this one for years...inside or out. We use a box of dog bones/biscuits. We place them in a circle (which becomes a pile by the end of the game) One less than the number of children. THe kids march in a circle to monster mash or some other snappy halloween tune. When the music stops...each kid grabs a bone. The kid without a bone is out. He or she takes one bone out of the circle and each kid places theirs back on the floor. This can be done with plastic skeleton bones as well, but my dog enjoys the treats. It requires little space and is cost effective.

Halloween "Mummy Wrap"
- Years ago, I hired an entertainer for my son's party and one of the fun things he did was have a "Mummy Wrap" contest. There are two teams. On each team, there's a designated "mummy" and a designated "wrapper." When you say "GO!" the two teams race to see which "mummy" can be wrapped first. The fun part is that the "mummy wrap" is a roll of toilet paper for each team! The "wrapper" runs around the "mummy" and twirls the paper all around the kid (of course, with lots of breathing room on the face!) If you like, you can have the other kids at the party vote for the best mummy wrap, or just have the first one to finish wrapping be the winning team. OK... you have to sacrifice two rolls of toilet paper... but it's worth the fun!
