best sport ever!

gymnastics is the best sport there is if your child enjoys the thrill of being praised and rewarded, I am a former gymnast and i loved it soo much amazing try Hills gymnastics gathersburg MD the best ask for mr bobby or kevin, i had to quit because of an injury if your child really gets into it and is at a high level they might get injuries! but it is a very amazing sport where your child makes new friends, gymnastics is not for everyone though!

Be patient and stick with it

It will be hard at first if you are not flexible but if you stick to it you will become flexible and if you are not the type of person who is good or afraid of doing the crazy stuff in gymnastics then i would'nt recomend it to some people beccause I have seen some people really get hert if they dont now what their doing!!! you have to be good at doing these types of things. but still it is very fun to do just like cheerleading it is a very fun experiance for me to go through now im like a pro im very flexible now for doing Gymnastics and also for being in cheerleading!!!!

Starting Early

We started when our children were young, and we found a non-competitive place. Because the kids had such a positive experience early on, they were more self-motivated to learn more, I think. Also, it helps if they have a friend or two in the class--it makes it more fun to get up and go to class.

It is not about competition

You do not have to be involved in a competitive gymnastics program to enjoy gymnastics. The Little Gym provides a safe, nurturing, noncompetitive environment for children ages 4 months (yes I said 4 months) to 12 years. Their program helps children believe they do not have to BE the best, just TRY your best and I agree with that philosophy! Competition comes early enough in their young lives, give them a physical outlet without the "need" to win while they are young.
