Helmets are a must
- I am surprised every time I see a kid skiing without a helmet. Really bad idea! Buy or rent one made for skiing. It shouldn't even be a question.

Look for seasonal rentals
- We rent skis from a ski shop for the season. Since kids grow fast this makes more sense than buying new or even used. Plus it's much easier to bring our "own" skis to the mtn. instead of dealing with a daily rental.
